Findhorn

A beautiful coastal village in Moray, Scotland

Findhorn is a coastal village along the Moray coast, with a beautiful beach and a great selection of seafood.

Located on the Moray coast, Findhorn is a charming village nestled between a golden sandy beach and Findhorn Bay. Notably, Findhorn's beach is a must-see and is great for a walk. You can see the picturesque beach huts that line up overlooking the sea, and sometimes if you're lucky, you may get a glimpse of dolphins or seals. You will also find the Findhorn Icehouse and Heritage Centre close by which displays the history of both Findhorn and its fishing industry through underground chambers.

Findhorn also offers a great selection of seafood - some of my favorites are the Kimberley Inn and Crown & Ancor Inn which serve delicious seafood.

Findhorn is also known for the Findhorn Foundation, an internationally recognized center for holistic education and sustainable living. Visitors can explore the communities eco-village, where eco-friendly houses, organic gardens, and renewable energy initiatives showcase the principles of sustainability in action. The Phoenix Cafe is located at the entrance of the Universal Hall and offers a wide range of food with a focus on local and organic ingredients. The coffee and food here is amazing and would definitely suggest stopping by.
