Glencoe

Glencoe is one of Scotland's most beautiful sites, renowned for its dramatic mountains, and stunning landscapes shaped by ancient volcanic and glacial activity.

I visited Glencoe on a cold December morning with my friend Matthew. After getting my camera earlier that year, it was one of the first places I wanted to visit and photograph. As we drove into the valley, the mountains came into view, and I couldn’t help but feel a sense of excitement finally seeing them in person.

One of our first stops was the Lagangarbh Hut, a small white house sitting in the middle of the vast landscape at the foot of Buachaille Etive Mòr. At this time of the morning, the area was quiet, with only the sound of the river flowing nearby. With my camera in hand, we walked around the hut, taking photos from different angles and taking in the scenery. I've always wanted to visit this place in the summer too, capturing the green summer tones - definitely a trip for the future.
